Who we are

Karen Goldman

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Karen Goldman grew up in São Paulo, where she graduated in Communication from PUC and worked in major companies. A tireless traveler, she lived in California, Málaga, and Stockholm before arriving in Paris in 2011 to pursue her passion for gastronomy.
She trained in French cuisine at École Grégoire Ferrandi — one of France’s most renowned institutions — and holds a Master’s Degree in Gastronomy Trends and Food History. Karen worked in several restaurants and hotels in France and Italy, learning from outstanding chefs.
She is also a cooking teacher, a researcher in sustainable food consumption and conscious tourism, and the CEO of Gastronomos. Founder of the blog Eu Como Sim, she is dedicated to sharing her gastronomic knowledge with travelers who come to France.

Daniele Volcov

Born and raised in Curitiba, Daniele began her international journey at 17, living in Russia. This experience sparked her passion for travel, food, cultures, and hospitality.
She graduated in Tourism with emphasis on Food & Beverage at UFPR, specialized in Hotel Management at Senac-SP, and later earned an MBA in Project Management from Ibmec. She also completed professional courses in cooking, barista techniques, beer sommelier studies, and wine sommelier training. Now living in France, Daniele combines her expertise with her love for food and travel. She works at Gastronomos as Project Director, developing content and designing experiences for travelers seeking gastronomy in Paris.
